P.Joliffe was born in North Wales and was brought up on Ynys Mon - the Island of Anglesey. Following school, he studied at Art Foundation Level before a degree in Graphic Design at Bristol, England.

He has worked as a graphic designer and a lecturer, as well as an editorial illustrator for clients in the UK and the US. He still lectures once a week on a degree course in Illustration and Visual Communication.

P. Joliffe is used to working with a variety of clients and briefs, provides all his work digitally, is well versed in preparing images and layouts for print, and never misses a deadline; being able to turn around work very quickly when needed (which is most of the time!)
